Tervetuloa Whippet-Harrastajat ry:n kevätvuosikokoukseen Tuomarinkartanolle
12.04.2025!

Tuomarinkartanon vinttikoirakeskus, Tuomarinkyläntie 1, 00690 Helsinki

Kokous järjestetään läsnäkokouksena, etäosallistuminen ei ole tällä kertaa mahdollista. Valtakirjojen tarkastus alkaa klo 12:30 ja kevätkokous klo 13. Liitteenä on kokouksen esityslista, valtakirjapohja ja kokouksessa käsiteltävät liitteet. Liitteinä ovat Whippet-Harrastajat ry:n tilinpäätös, toimintakertomus ja whippettien jalostuksen tavoiteohjelma.

Tarjoilujen varaamiseksi pyydämme ennakkoilmoittautumaan kokoukseen 10.04.2025 mennessä Forms-lomakkeella: https://docs.google.com/forms/…

Ennakkoilmoittautuminen ei ole pakollista ja kokoukseen saa tulla ilman ennakkoilmoittautumista.
Kevätvuosikokouksessa palkitaan Vuoden Whippetit kaikissa lajeissa. Erillisiä kutsuja ei toimiteta jokaisen koiran omistajalle erikseen, vaan palkittavat on listattu tässä kutsussa alla. Palkintoja ei kustannussyistä postiteta yhdistyksen piikkiin. Mikäli et itse pääse paikalle, etkä saa ketään vastaanottamaan palkintoa puolestasi, sovitaan noudosta erikseen, esimerkiksi jossain toisessa yhdistyksen tapahtumassa.

YVONNE HULL

I was given my first whippet as a gift in 1994. I had some fun with her at local shows. She was the perfect introduction to the wonderful world of whippets.
SHOWING & BREEDING
My involvement in the Palmik Kennel started in 2003, and since then, together with my husband Mike, we have enjoyed the most amazing success totalling 94 CCs and 99 RCCs. We have bred and campaigned 10 UK champions. 35 whippets have gained their Stud Book Numbers. We also bred & exhibited Top UK whippet in 2011 & 2012 and Top Whippet Male 2015. In addition we have bred and exhibited Top UK Whippet Puppy 2007, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2015 & 2017. There have been many Best of Breeds and group successes from these achievements.
We were thankful to Lucinda &Felicity Thompson and Jeff & Iva Kimmelman for letting UK Ch Barnesmore Red Rose at Palmik JW and UK/AM Ch Merci Isle Magnolia at Palmik come to live at Palmik. Both gained their UK Champion titles while living with us
In 2017 the homebred UK Champion Palmik Strike It Right JW went to live with the late Bo Bengston in the USA. He went on to become an American Champion and is the sire of multiple litters. His offspring are enjoying success in the USA and Europe.
In 2023, Palmik A Million Dreams JW went to live with Kimberley Grant & Pamela Magette. She is now an American Champion. We have also bred 3 other overseas champions gaining their titles in Finland, Sweden and Poland, plus a Junior Dutch Champion.
JUDGING
After 16 years of owning, showing and breeding whippets, I decided to start my judging career in 2010. I have been passed by The UK Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates.
In 2018, I awarded my first set of CCs at Boston and District Championship Show. I judged the males and females. My Best of Breed went on to win the Hound Group and Best in Show.
In 2022, I judged the male and females at Richmond Championship Show. My Best of Breed won the Hound Group. My Best Puppy in Breed won the Hound Puppy Group and Best Puppy in Show.
In 2024, I judged males and females at South Wales Championship Show. My Best of Breed was shortlisted in the Hound Group. My Best Puppy in Breed achieved Hound Puppy Group 2 at her first show.
In March 2019 I judged The Swedish Whippet Club Championship Show at Vilsta. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and it gave me my first experience of judging abroad.
In May 2022 I had the honour of judging females at The Whippet World Congress in Italy. It was the most amazing experience and one I will treasure forever.
FUTURE
I am excited and very much looking forward to judging at The Finnish Whippet Clubs National Speciality Shows and meeting all the whippet exhibitors and their dogs.

DÁNIEL NOVÁK

I was born in 1993 in Budapest, Hungary. I started to show my Great Danes at my age of twelve. Since that i always watched and adored the sighthounds form the ringside. I used to have -also shown as a handler- many different breeds, but whippets owned my soul from the beginning.
I took home my first whippet in 2010 who became pretty successfull in the following years. (BOB&BIS at ESH’13, etc.) I’ve visited many shows during the years as Crufts, AKC Nationals, EuroSighthound shows, WDS, EDS, etc. to learn and to have my own view of the breed.
My first whippet litter was born in 2013. I’m a proud breeder of many Champions all over the world.
I can thank you to my whippets many unforgettable memories, included happy weekdays and big wins at the shows.
In 2023 i became a judge for whippets, and right now i’m the youngest FCI judge in my country.
Since that i’ve judged in Hungary, Poland and Sweden.
I felt happy, honored and excited when i got invitation for this show, as i see: Skandinavian breeders always did and still do an amazing job with our beloved breed.
With great pleasure i’m looking forward to judge at the Finnish Whippet National Shows!
